Answer: What is significant about all the disaster described is that it is a message of hope, not terror. The martyrs have been waiting for vindication and now they have it. Those who have been persecuting them are destroyed.
3. Who was exempt from this terror?
Answer: No one in the ranks of the persecutor is exempt–powerful authorities, slave and free.
